Starlink is a Low Earth Orbit communication satellite system providing access to the internet via the Spacex satellite fleet & land based Gateways.

At only 500 kilometers above Earth, this short distance enables fast data exchange between the End Users & land based Gateways, exceeding speeds of 150mbps -  350mbps download speeds, with very low latency - lag 25-50ms.

Starlink is ideal for rural or remote locations & poorly serviced urban areas with fatigued copper infrastructure & best of all its available almost anywhere.

Is Starlink reliable?

We have been installing the system since 2021 as one of the first companies to offer the installation service, we have seen increased speeds & uninterrupted service from the system.

We would recommend Starlink for poorly serviced internet areas.

The time it takes to install your Starlink system depends on your location and the complexities of the installation. Typically, installation takes between 1-2 hours.

You will need to order the Starlink system from either www.starlink.com directly or from any third party vendor, these would include Currys, Toolstation, John Lewis & B&Q.

Once you have ordered your new Starlink system please call & we will book your installation.

Yes, you can purchase additional adapters from the Starlink shop, we would advise you purchase the Starlink Authorized OEM adapters supplied by Starlink these are tested and certified by Starlink. 

We supply all necessary wall brackets & masts needed for the installation.

The standard pipe adapter can be purchased from the Starlink shop www.starlink.com .

If you forget to order the adapter we carry spares on board.

Yes, we offer Starlink repairs & service calls.

As more companies have started to offer Starlink installation services, we have seen an increase in poorly fitted Starlink systems & incorrectly configured WiFi mesh networks, whether they be wireless or hardwired systems.

The average internet speed from the Starlink system is now above 170mbps with highs of over 300mbps, although speeds may vary depending on your location and plan.

If you live in a location with poorly serviced land based internet, Starlink would be a suitable provider.

Starlink Installer,  offer Starlink installation services for both residential & business locations.

Our clientele is a mix of large rural country homes & rural business premises, whether these be secluded holiday lets, holiday chalets, large rural industrial units or work from home companies.

It is very important to update the Starlink system when you are prompted to do so.

Starlink update notices appear within the Starlink app, you should click the update icon & the system will automatically update the Starlink system.

Once Starlink has updated it will automatically reboot & allow internet access to resume.

Failure to allow the updates can result in slower internet speeds or no internet, in some cases with the Gen2 system it can result in, a, no power issue with the router.

If you have suffered with the Gen2 no power issue after a failed update, please try the router hard reset method, to, remedy the issue.

From early 2021 when Starlink was first launched in the UK as a D.I.Y system, Pro Install have offered a permanent installation service.

There were only a handful of companies willing to offer this service across the UK, ourselves being one of those companies.
