What Is Starlink Internet & Is It Right For Me?

Starlink is a Low Earth Orbit communication satellite system providing access to the internet via the Spacex satellite fleet & land based Gateways.

At only 500 kilometers above Earth, this short distance enables fast data exchange between the End Users & land based Gateways, exceeding speeds of 150mbps - 350mbps download speeds, with very low latency - lag 25-50ms.

Starlink is ideal for rural or remote locations & poorly serviced urban areas with fatigued copper infrastructure & best of all its available almost anywhere.

Is Starlink reliable?

We have been installing the system since 2021 as one of the first companies to offer the installation service, we have seen increased speeds & uninterrupted service from the system.

We would recommend Starlink for poorly serviced internet areas.

How long does it take to install my Starlink system?

The time it takes to install your Starlink system depends on your location and the complexities of the installation. Typically, installation takes between 1-2 hours.

Where do i purchase Starlink from?

You will need to order the Starlink system from either www.starlink.com directly or from any third party vendor, these would include Currys, Toolstation, John Lewis & B&Q.

Once you have ordered your new Starlink system please call & we will book your installation.

Should i buy any Starlink adapters or brackets?

Yes, you can purchase additional adapters from the Starlink shop, we would advise you purchase the Starlink Authorized OEM adapters supplied by Starlink these are tested and certified by Starlink.

We supply all necessary wall brackets & masts needed for the installation.

The standard pipe adapter can be purchased from the Starlink shop www.starlink.com .

If you forget to order the adapter we carry spares on board.

What is Starlinks average internet speed?

The average internet speed from the Starlink system is now above 170mbps with highs of over 300mbps, although speeds may vary depending on your location and plan.

If you live in a location with poorly serviced land based internet, Starlink would be a suitable provider.
